Consulting Pharmacists

Our experienced Team of Pharmacists are highly trained to identify medications that are safe for our residents, cost effective, and in compliance with the industry’s frequently changing regulations.  In addition, we employ pharmacists at Premier Pharmacy that are certified in the knowledge of IV Solutions preparations and can consult to address acute care needs.  Monthly on-site visits review medication records of each resident to assure proper drugs are being administered at the proper time, in the proper manner, and each drug has a matching diagnosis.  Our consultants also audit for med cart compliance to promote a deficiency free pharmacy at your facility.

PPG assigns a dedicated Pharmacy Representative who is a Certified Pharmacy Technician, that will be your trusted point of contact with us.  Our Technicians are proficient and proactive in handling new scripts, hard copy orders, refills and, teaming with a pharmacist, will answer your prescription questions.

Nurse Consultants

With many years’ experience in Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care and Home Health regulations, our nurse consultants are here to ensure your compliance.  They are available to assist with medication administration observation, provide education on current regulation changes, extend guidance for Quality Assurance reviews, lend support with completing Plan of Corrections, assess Medical Record Charting, and most importantly, prepare your staff for State Survey readiness—complete with pre-survey audit tools.

Operational Support

With a license in Nursing Home Administration and years’ of hands-on experience, PPG’s Chief Operating Officer is driven to assist you in regulatory compliance.  You will receive support in survey preparation, complete with mock survey tools, audits for adherence of policies and procedures, staff education on Quality Assurance review and implementation, and reports from observations of day-to-day operations.  Integration and implementation of software systems is always available from our devoted and talented staff.
